ERP Software Engineer - BTP

As part of a global business transformation initiative, we’re working on a comprehensive program aimed at standardizing core business processes across the entire enterprise using a unified IT system. This digital transformation is designed to drive efficiency, transparency, and agility—empowering employees with real-time data and seamless collaboration tools.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using tools like SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, Node.js, CAPM, SBPA.

• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and UX designers to translate requirements into technical designs.

• Create mockups and prototypes to present ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

• Work closely with project managers to estimate timelines and ensure timely delivery of features and applications.

• Conduct peer code reviews and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Stay current with the latest BTP advancements and propose improvements for performance and user experience.

• Ensure smooth integration with enterprise systems and third-party applications, including SAP CPI and Mulesoft.

• Document development processes and technical architecture for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

• Support deployments, monitor application performance, and implement enhancements as needed.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience as a BTP Developer, including SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, and SBPA.

• Proficient in CAPM, Java, and OData services.

• Experience with S4HANA backend services and integrations.

• Familiarity with tools like SAP Build, Joule, AI Foundation, and AI Services is a plus.

• Understanding of at least one business process in S4HANA.

• Agile mindset with experience in Scrum and tools like Jira and Solman.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.

• Experience leading technical teams is preferred.

• Relevant SAP/BTP certifications are a bonus.
