DevSecOps Engineer (GCP)

Hybrid: 2 days a week from the office, 3 days remote (Cracow)B2B contract: 150-210 PLN net/h

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP DevSecOps Engineer to join a team responsible for cloud security, compliance, and platform architecture within a large regulated organization. This role combines hands-on engineering, DevSecOps practices, and Cloud Security Posture Management at a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain GCP foundational platforms using services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, BigQuery

• Develop and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Config Connector)

• Implement centralized preventive security controls to improve overall cloud security posture

• Integrate and manage common cloud services: IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, OS, containers

• Ensure compliance with internal cloud security standards and regulatory requirements

• Support operational risk areas: network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, resiliency

• Build and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines (Cloud Build, GitOps, Flux CD, Helm)

• Follow and enforce change management processes according to internal standards

• Create and update operational and technical documentation

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing solutions in Google Cloud Platform

• Strong expertise in GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, BigQuery

• Advanced knowledge of cloud security and GCP-specific best practices

• Experience with DevOps / SRE principles and Infrastructure as Code

• Strong knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, Flux CD, Helm)

• Programming experience in at least one of: Python, Go, Bash

• Security and compliance experience: IAM, auditing, monitoring, automation, configuration management

• Understanding of risk management and experience working in regulated environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms / landing zones / foundation platforms

• Working in global / large-scale environments

• Collaboration with security, compliance, and governance teams
