• Location: Hybrid – Kraków (preferred) or Warsaw

• On-site presence: approx. 6 times per month in the office

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Technology Specialist with strong expertise in Data Discovery to join a global cybersecurity team. The function delivers and operates technologies that safeguard critical business operations, data, and transactions, while ensuring resilience against an evolving threat landscape.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly complex environment, implementing security solutions and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives that enable the organization to operate securely and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Structured/Unstructured Data Discovery activities across enterprise environments

• Participate in projects involving the deployment and configuration of Data Discovery tools, including execution of data scans

• Perform BAU activities to ensure server and tool maintenance, reliability, and performance

• Support Service Owners with system health checks, monitoring, reporting, and process compliance

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven operational management experience, ensuring consistent service delivery

• Strong knowledge of Data Security and Data Integration tooling and strategies

• Hands-on experience with Symantec/Broadcom Data Discovery and/or Veritas Data Insight (or comparable products)

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. CIS, NIST, EU data security & privacy regulations)

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or IT (experience in the financial sector is a plus)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver effective solutions in complex environments
