  • Experience designing enterprise-level logical models and applying abstraction techniques

  • Knowledge of industry models/standards such as BIAN, FSDM, BDW

  • Ability to balance analytical depth with delivery momentum, demonstrating continual value from the modelling process

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge designs and decisions

  • Ability to resolve complex issues using structured problem-solving techniques

  • Ability to quickly understand complex data landscapes and apply analysis in new contexts

  • Strong relationship-building skills, motivation and a collaborative mindset

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including virtual communication (calls, video conferences)

  • Strong leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to obtain agreement from diverse audiences

  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills; ability to work to deadlines

  • Commercial awareness and ability to apply it to data requirements

  • A continuous improvement mindset and understanding of change implementation mechanisms

  • High self-awareness and confidence to work independently

Relevant Experience

  • Experience in Financial Services, particularly within data-related domains (Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Governance)

  • Knowledge of data management tools and techniques

  • Working knowledge of data modelling tools (e.g., Visual Paradigm, IBM Infosphere Data Architect, CA Erwin; familiarity with Collibra or Informatica is a plus)

  • Experience gathering, documenting and validating data requirements in large organisations
