About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Model Governance Analyst to join the Advanced Projects team within a dynamic Cybersecurity Science & Analytics (CS&A) function. This team plays a crucial role in supporting AI/ML model oversight and governance, helping ensure robust cybersecurity practices and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity experts, data scientists, and engineers on a global scale. The role is ideal for someone who has a passion for cybersecurity and AI risk, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is eager to learn and contribute to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

Model Governance

• Manage and process model governance tickets from initial assessment through to completion.
• Review model use cases to ensure alignment with governance standards.
• Support the full model lifecycle: inventory, validation tracking, change control.
• Assist with improving model governance frameworks and policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation including model development records, validation logs, and change histories.
• Support regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.

Agile Project Management

• Document requirements, findings, and recommendations with clarity and precision.
• Track and manage tasks and project timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide administrative support to the Model Oversight Chair and manage backlog workflows.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a point of contact for ad-hoc requests and issues related to model governance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across cybersecurity, AI, risk, and compliance teams.
• Build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues globally.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of processes and methodologies.
• Use data analysis to identify patterns and opportunities for risk mitigation and process optimization.
• Promote a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and innovation.

Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in financial services, technology risk, model governance, or regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field preferred (science, technology, engineering, mathematics). Equivalent experience or relevant certifications will also be considered.
• Understanding of AI/ML risk, cybersecurity frameworks, and data governance principles. -> it's a must!
• Familiarity with Agile project tools such as JIRA.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or C# is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
