Cloud Security Consultant (Azure)

We are looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to join a global cybersecurity team responsible for strengthening cloud security posture and driving secure adoption of cloud technologies across the organization. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that cloud-based services meet internal security standards while supporting business teams in delivering secure solutions to production environments.

Location: Cracow (hybrid model- 6 days per month from the office)

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously improve cloud security posture and maturity across platforms (primarily Azure)

• Review and challenge exception requests and risk acceptances related to cloud security requirements

• Ensure cloud-hosted services comply with internal security policies and controls

• Provide consultancy to application and engineering teams on secure cloud adoption

• Support secure transition of applications into production environments

• Drive process improvements, automation, and data-driven enhancements in cloud security practices

• Collaborate with global stakeholders across business and IT functions

• Stay up to date with industry trends and promote best practices in cloud security

• Contribute to the overall cybersecurity strategy and secure technology landscape

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform

• Experience in cybersecurity assessments, risk management, and control frameworks

• Good understanding of cloud security tools and vendor solutions

• Familiarity with scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL)

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub)

• Experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments is a plus

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in Agile environments

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or cloud security certifications
