Associate Vice President Tester

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Model Development & Validation: Design, code, and maintain advanced analytics/AI models for regulatory compliance (AI/ML, NLP, generative AI).
• Data Management: Work with large, complex datasets; merge, clean, and analyze data; extract insights; visualize results for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Regulatory Risk Analytics: Identify, monitor, and mitigate emerging regulatory and compliance risks; update and validate models in line with Group Model Risk standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Report on scorecards and KPIs for RC AI & Analytics; ensure high quality and timeliness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with IT, product, audit, and regulatory teams; promote adoption of data-driven decisions; clearly communicate complex analytical solutions.
• Governance & Controls: Implement governance for compliance-related and non-model analytical tools; remediate risks and issues proactively.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in financial services, ideally in a Tier 1 bank.
• Direct exposure to regulatory compliance and risk analytics.
• Agile development experience.
• Strong coding: Python, SQL; experience with Hadoop ecosystem.
• Cloud/data tools: GCP, AWS, Azure, Spark, ETL, graph theory (nice to have).
• Visualization: Qlik, Tableau.
• Data architecture: Cloud, ETL, Ontology, Data Modeling.
• Tools: JIRA, GIT, Slack, Confluence, Advanced Excel.
