About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as an AI Coding Assistant Integration and Governance Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in evaluating and implementing AI-based coding assistants within our organization’s technical ecosystem while ensuring compliance with governance and process requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Governance and Process Adherence: Collaborate with stakeholders, including cybersecurity, legal, hosting committees (external and AI-related), model risk, and governance forums to ensure compliance with banking policies and processes. Obtain necessary approvals for implementation.

• Technical Evaluation: Assess various AI-based coding assistants, analyzing their compatibility, performance, and integration capabilities within our organization's environment.

• Vendor Engagement: Work closely with vendors, procurement, and legal teams to negotiate contracts, define commercial terms, and ensure seamless collaboration while mitigating risks associated with Generative AI, particularly regarding IP infringement and IP protection.

• AI Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of AI technologies to contribute to the evaluation process and drive optimal technical decisions.

• Communication and Promotion: Develop and implement communication strategies to inform stakeholders—especially within the engineering community—about AI coding assistant integration and enablement initiatives.

• Pilot Rollout Management: Support the development and execution of pilot programs for AI coding assistants, including feedback collection mechanisms and data-driven business use cases.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally to gather feedback, address concerns, and refine the integration process based on real-world insights.

• Technical Setup: Implement and manage the technical setup of AI coding assistants, including plugin integration, authentication protocols, and monitoring mechanisms.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance integration and governance processes, applying best practices and stakeholder feedback.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical evaluation and integration of AI technologies, with a strong understanding of AI models and their applications.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage with vendors, procurement teams, and various stakeholders.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and legal considerations related to AI technology integration.

• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to drive implementation, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.

• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions to shape the integration process and demonstrate business value.

• Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
