Project Manager
Andersen is hiring a Project Manager in Germany to design and integrate scalable AI systems, supporting a major digital-transformation program and enabling modern, reliable AI-driven services.
The customer is a large international technology provider delivering end-to-end digital solutions for enterprise-level organizations. The company focuses on IT consulting, cloud services, cybersecurity, and managed operations, supporting clients across various industries with complex digital transformation needs. With decades of experience, the customer emphasizes innovation, reliability, and high security standards.
The project is part of a large European digital transformation initiative aimed at integrating advanced AI into mission-critical systems. The team focuses on building scalable AI solutions, modernizing legacy architectures, and ensuring reliable deployment to support next-generation public and private sector services.
Responsibilities:
- Leading AI/ML or GenAI product initiatives from discovery to delivery, coordinating teams and aligning outcomes with business goals.
- Defining product requirements, success metrics and roadmaps for AI-based features and systems.
- Managing progress, risks, dependencies and resources across the AI development lifecycle.
- Facilitating collaboration between engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, architects and product stakeholders.
- Coordinating experimentation activities (PoCs, pilots, A/B tests), ensuring learning is documented and incorporated.
- Overseeing delivery quality, timelines and budget, ensuring transparent communication with customers and management.
- Supporting data readiness processes: data sourcing, validation, quality checks, alignment with model requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards related to AI usage, data handling and security.
- Preparing project documentation, reports, product updates and stakeholder briefings.
- Driving continuous improvement in delivery processes and team workflows for AI-heavy development.
- Serving as the key contact point for customers on planning, expectations, scope and performance of AI product delivery.
Must-haves:
- Experience managing complex software projects or products, including AI/ML or data-driven initiatives, for 4+ years.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data, AI, design, product) through a full delivery lifecycle.
- Experience managing AI/ML or GenAI product development, including model-driven features, experimentation cycles and iterative validation.
- Understanding of AI fundamentals: model lifecycle, training vs. inference, data quality, evaluation metrics, risks and limitations.
- Experience working with Data Science, ML Engineering and Software Engineering teams in a product setting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including communication with executives, customers and technical leads.
- Experience managing timelines, risks, scope and dependencies in environments with high uncertainty.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and product discovery techniques (experiments, PoCs, MVPs).
- Ability to prepare documentation, acceptance criteria, plans, reports and decision materials.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; the ability to manage multi-project environments.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
- Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
