Andersen is hiring a Project Manager in the EU for a UK-based client specializing in advisory and risk solutions. The role involves managing a SaaS platform for insurance and analytics, focusing on team coordination and delivery process improvement.
The customer is a company that offers data-driven solutions for people, risk and capital management. Leveraging the global vision and local expertise of colleagues across 140 countries and markets, it helps to sharpen the strategy, improve organizational resilience, motivate people and maximize performance.
The project is centered around a business-critical SaaS solution used by clients for real-time insurance calculations, modeling, and actuarial analytics. It involves maintaining and enhancing the platform to ensure reliability and performance. The focus is on coordinating a technical team, improving delivery processes, and supporting ongoing development without deep technical involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating platform/DevOps team efforts.
- Organizing and running syncs, backlog grooming, and planning sessions.
- Managing releases and delivery schedules.
- Monitoring progress and provide reporting.
- Assisting with ongoing support and improvements of the SaaS platform.
- Helping refine the team's structure and workflows.
- Collaborating occasionally with internal stakeholders, but day-to-day focus is within the tech team.
Must-haves:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in tech or SaaS environments, for 4+ years.
- Experience coordinating technical/platform/DevOps teams.
- General familiarity with Azure services, including Front Door, API Management, SQL, Storage Accounts, Kubernetes, Load Balancers.
- Awareness of CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps – no need to build them, just understand the flow.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves: - Prior hands-on technical experience.
- Ability to identify team/process gaps and propose improvements.
