Andersen invites a Lead Cloud Engineer (AWS) in Germany to join its team on high-impact, enterprise-level projects.

The position involves visiting the client’s office in Bamberg, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Technically managing a cloud team.
Organizing and moderating agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the Cloud Security Board.
Further developing and operating the central cloud platform (AWS).
Taking responsibility for infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as Code with Terraform).
Developing and maintaining landing zones, network concepts, IAM structures and security policies.
Closely cooperating with IT architecture and security to ensure compliance with Standards.
Evaluating and implementing new technologies and best practices.
Serving as a contact person for internal teams for all questions about cloud platforms.
Translating technical requirements into feasible tasks within the team.
Managing external service providers if required.
Must-haves:
Professional experience in cloud engineering for 3+ years.
In-depth knowledge of the AWS public cloud.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
Understanding of DevOps approaches and CI/CD processes.
Experience in technical leadership or as a technical contact in agile teams.
Strong communication skills and a high degree of personal responsibility.
Knowledge of FinOps or cloud cost management.
Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
