Andersen is hiring an Android Developer in the EU with German language skills. The role involves building an AI-powered nutrition app, focusing on scalability, quality, and future integration.

Its portfolio includes innovative multifunctional kitchen devices and advanced cleaning systems, distributed through a global network of independent consultants. The project is focused on developing an Android app with AI-powered features to support healthier nutrition. Based on an existing iOS prototype, it will include one new feature and one adapted from iOS, with a focus on scalability, quality, testing, and future integration into the main application.
Responsibilities:
Developing and integrating Android components into the existing app.
Collaborating with internal customer teams and, if necessary, iOS developers.
Participating in agile meetings and coordination.
Supporting for cross-platform approaches using Kotlin (optional).
Must-haves:
Proven experience in native Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for 2+ years.
Experience integrating features into existing, large-scale applications.
Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
MQTT experience.
Experience working with enterprise or corporate clients.
