.NET Developer with jQuery

Andersen is seeking a .NET Developer with jQuery for a Healthcare project with a Portuguese company. The role involves supporting and improving a web platform used by doctors, researchers, and patients. The workload is estimated at approximately 2 hours per day. 

The customer is a non-profit organization based in Lisbon, Portugal, focuses on improving the lives of individuals and families affected by hereditary cancer.It develops digital tools to raise awareness and support early prevention, including a platform for personal risk assessment. Actively involved in European research projects, the organization collaborates with scientific and medical institutions while advocating for patients in policy and public health discussions. 

The project involves maintaining and improving a complex web platform that supports multiple user roles, including doctors and researchers. Users can register, read news, complete questionnaires, book video consultations, and maintain personal diaries or notes. 

Responsibilities: 

- Analyzing and resolving bugs reported in Jira. 

- Understanding the website’s architecture, with a focus on its .NET backend and tightly coupled front-end. 

- Collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality fixes under tight deadlines. 

- Participating in onboarding sessions provided by the current team and developer for a smooth start. 

Must-haves: 

- Experience with .NET for 3+ years. 

- Strong knowledge of Knockout.js and jQuery. 

- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL. 

- Ability to quickly grasp intricate project details and adapt to a complex, sometimes confusing codebase. 

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. 

- Analytical mindset and attention to detail when diagnosing and fixing web-related issues. - Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
