Andersen, an international IT company, invites an experienced .NET Developer to join its team for working with a company from Germany.
The customer is a premier partner in digital transformation and custom software solutions. With extensive experience in consulting, process optimization, and software development, they cater to various industries, including travel technology and finance. Their scalable team of experts has successfully delivered innovative projects for clients like HLX, Lufthansa Holidays, and Studiosus Reisen.
The project is to provide functionality to external components to perform search and booking operations for travel packages, which may include services such as air tickets, hotels, cars, insurance, etc. The system provides an interface for integration with various service providers in the tourism industry.
Tech stack on the project: .Net Framework 3, .Net Framework, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), WWF (Windows Workflow Foundation), Entity Framework , SOAP, Spring Framework, .Net Core 2., Asp.Net Core (WebAPI), Entity Framework Core 2., MSDataSet, MS Sql Server, MS SSRS (Sql Server Reporting Services).
Responsibilities:
- Discussing with the project manager/TechLead (not with the end customer).
- Developing and testing code (with additional QA engineer support).
- Deploying applications and conducting health checks.
- Documenting in the existing Confluence space.
- Assisting new team members with onboarding and knowledge transfer.
- Reviewing code with team members.
Must-haves:
- Experience in .NET development from 4+ years.
- Extensive hands-on experience in .NET development, spanning over 4 years, including .NET Framework versions 3, 4.8, and 8+.
- Over 4 years of solid experience working with Entity Framework.
- Over 2 years working with .NET Core 2 and Entity Framework Core 2.
- Practical experience in the Spring Framework and ASP.NET Core (WebAPI).
- In-depth experience of more than 2 years working with MS SQL Server 201.
- Strong expertise in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and a good understanding of Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF).
- Familiarity with SOAP-based services.
- Knowledge of MSDataSet, IIS, and RDP.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Level of German- from Intermediate and above.
- Knowledge in tourism business domain.
- Experience with MS SSRS (Sql Server Reporting Services).
