Mid/Senior PHP/Symfony Developer

We're looking for a Mid/Senior PHP/Symfony Developer to join our Polish–Swiss team working on a modern SaaS platform for Swiss customers. We need someone with solid development experience who's ready to take on more responsibility, contribute to technical decisions, and grow together with the team.

💼 What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend services built with Symfony and PHP

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions

• Support other team members through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaboration

• Work closely with product owners and the team to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions

• Collaborate with Polish and Swiss teammates in an agile environment

• Help identify improvements in code quality, performance, security, and overall system design

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with an eye toward long-term sustainability

• Occasionally meet with the team in Wrocław (we work remotely on a daily basis)

  
  

🧠 What we expect

• Solid commercial experience with PHP (ideally 8.1+) and Symfony framework – you've worked on production systems and feel confident in your skills

• Good understanding of OOP principles and web application development best practices

• Ability to see beyond individual tasks – understanding how your work fits into the broader system and business goals

• English fluency – daily communication with Swiss teammates

• Collaborative mindset – you enjoy sharing knowledge, learning from others, and helping the team succeed

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take initiative

  
  

We'd love to see:

• Interest or experience in software architecture and system design (we'll support your growth in this area)

• Experience mentoring other developers or contributing to team knowledge sharing as well as constructive discussion with other team members

• Familiarity with design patterns, clean code practices, and technical decision-making

• Understanding of how backend, frontend, and infrastructure work together

• Curiosity about DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, or modern development workflows
