Mid-Level Full Stack Python (Django) Developer

We’re seeking a mid-level part-time (~10 – 20 hours per week) Python/Django developer. 

This would be fully remote B2B contract work for a US-based company.

You will work on two (potentially three) apps that focus on data management and visualization for US-based automotive dealership websites.

You should have international team experience (manager will be based in US/Portugal). 

We use a mix of Trello and Slack to organize our work, but any combo of ticketing/async communication tools experience is more than fine. 

You should apply if you have the below experience, and are looking for a collegial environment where professionalism and proactiveness are highly valued. You’ll work directly with the owner, one other part time developer, and a part-time CTO. 

We expect you to use AI, and that you use it responsibly (you review every line of AI generated code, you don’t push non-reviewed code to production, etc.).

Must haves:

• 5+ years of professional Django experience

• 1 – 2 years of front end experience (any framework is OK, with some preference for React, though current code base does not use it yet)

• Strong English skills, both verbal and written

• Experience collaborating across time zones

• High attention to detail

Nice to have:

• SaaS Pegasus experience (Django-based SaaS template)

• AlpineJS experience

• Test driven development experience (the code base has some unit tests, but not total test coverage)
