Senior React Developer

Occasionally required to be available until 9:00 PM for meetings with the US team.

We are looking for Senior React Developer for our customer which is an online marketplace connecting people who want to rent out their homes with people looking for accommodations in specific locales. Together with them, we are building a world-class payments platform that moves billions of dollars, in 191 countries, with 75 currencies, through a complex ecosystem of payments partners. They are also reinventing how to serve users to improve performance, scalability and extensibility. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with various Trust engineering teams, taking ownership of the 
• frontend experiences. 
• Participate in all phases of software development including architecture/design, 
• implementation and testing. 
• Support teammates in enabling code quality, operational excellence, and shared learning 
• Maintain our rigorous engineering standards and instill consistency across the various 
• codebases and processes you encounter. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional working groups (mobile/backend/ML engineers, design, 
• product and operation teams) to design and build frontend experiences. 

And if you possess... 

• 7+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role in frontend web development. 
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience. 
• Strong expertise in the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript. 
• Experience with modern web technologies such as React, Preact, GraphQL, Angular, Next, Vue or Meteor. 
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations. 
• Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities. 
• Excellent engineering and coding skills. 
• Strong communication skills and experience working closely with other engineering teams across complex interfaces. 
• Love collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions, and are motivated to improve their teammates’ productivity. 

Nice to have 

• Experience working on an Infrastructure or Platform team supporting a medium to large engineering organization. 
• Experience (beyond configuration) working with bundlers, testing frameworks, editor integrations, frontend build/CI systems, observability tooling, or developer Environments. 
• Show motivation for personal growth and learning new technologies to support the team’s needs.
