Data visualization/ BI Developer

Our client Swiss biotechnology company specializing in the development and manufacture of peptides and oligonucleotides as active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and biochemicals. Provides custom synthesis services, process development, and commercial-scale production for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive data visualization dashboards using IOTA VUE tools, ensuring dashboards are visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs.
• Translate business requirements into BI solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data needs.
• Perform data analysis to uncover insights and support the visualization of complex datasets.
• Optimize dashboard performance and usability, implementing best practices for user experience and efficient data processing.
• Stay current with data visualization and BI tool advancements, contributing innovative ideas to enhance dashboard effectiveness and user experience.

If you possess...

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a BI or Data Visualization Developer, with a strong focus on interactive dashboard development and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience in creating BI solutions and performing data analysis to inform business decisions.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) and the ability to translate those skills to IOTA VUE.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets to uncover meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience with IOTA VUE tools or a proven ability to quickly learn new BI platforms (OR WILL TO LEARN IOTA VUE)
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages like Python or JavaScript to support data manipulation and customizations.
