Warsaw - hybrid model

The person in this position will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of applications based on Oracle databases in a banking environment.

Main tasks include:

• Implementing and testing new functionalities in pre-production and production environments.

• Application validation, integrity testing, and troubleshooting after deployments.

• Providing post-deployment support and preparing rollback plans.

• Immediate response in case of failures of business-critical databases.

Key technical responsibilities:

• Preparing the pre-PROD environment for FSFO activation.

• Synchronizing and fixing errors in Data Guard.

• Restoring the Standby environment when necessary.

• Creating database services (DB Service).

• Validating services at the PDB level.

• Creating new databases.

• Migrating PDBs to new containers.

• Activating and troubleshooting FSFO.

• Testing switchovers (Switchover and Failover) in the pre-PROD environment.

• Patching databases.

• Implementing changes at the operating system level (Unix processes, load management, daemons).

• Handling RAC issues with Disaster Recovery.

• Configuring Oracle GoldenGate Microservices and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

• Deploying changes in the production environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing Oracle databases (versions 12c–19c), including RAC and Data Guard.

• Experience working with Linux systems.

• Knowledge of Oracle tools: Data Guard, RMAN, Data Pump.

• Ability to design database architecture.

• Experience in creating and managing PDB services.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC production environments (ASM).

• Independence, accuracy, and teamwork skills.

• Good knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate (process flow, downstream databases, start/stop management).

• Understanding of storage-related topics.

• Ability to troubleshoot FSFO and manage observers.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes: change management, incident management.

• Experience handling Oracle SR tickets.

• Knowledge of OEM architecture and metric management.
