The Team is responsible for building next-gen application and AI platforms that streamline software delivery, making it faster, safer, and more reliable. This role focuses on implementing and operating core platform components (cloud foundations, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability) in a regulated, enterprise environment.

Role Description

• Individual Contributor (IC) Engineering Role: Work across platform engineering and cloud infrastructure delivery.

• Cloud Landing Zones & Developer Self-Service: Help build and enhance cloud solutions.

• Collaboration: Work with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Automation & Standardization: Automate repeatable tasks and apply standards to improve reliability.

• Testing & CI/CD: Create test plans, support DevOps teams, and improve CI/CD pipelines.

• Operational Readiness: Address operational considerations (performance, alerting, runbooks) early in delivery.

• Incident & Resilience Support: Participate in incident resolution and contribute to resilience goals (monitoring, backups, failover procedures).

Requirements

• Public cloud (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable with willingness to learn GCP).

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu/Pulumi).

• Containers & orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).

• CI/CD & GitOps (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, Argo CD/Flux).

• Networking & security (VPC/VNet, IAM/RBAC, ingress concepts).

• Scripting (Python, Go, or Bash).

Nice to Have:

• SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, incident management).

• Observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

• Security tooling (policy-as-code, image scanning).
