Role Overview

The Digital Query Management (DQM) is a key strategic programme for our global banking client. DQM, as a programme, aims to move the organisation forward into a best-in-class coordinated service function, freeing up sales staff to spend more time with clients’ queries, and being better informed in those interactions. And DQM is based on the SaaS Microsoft Dynamics365 platform.

DQM has now been deployed to 30+ countries, including all hub sites, and to c.4k wholesale colleagues across the world.

The Microsoft Azure DevOps Developer will be critical in shaping and defining the strategy solutions components of DQM. We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM & Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, deploy, and support enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions within a Banking / Financial Services environment. You will apply your knowledge and experience to each customer through proactive and preventative work efforts including requirement clarification, solution design, and technical implementation support. This role requires the ability to acknowledge opportunities and solve real world business problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and repos, Azure Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus.

• Experience in Azure API integrations and Entra ID authentication.

• Build scalable and high-performance data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading across cloud and on-premises sources.

• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms for data pipelines to ensure reliability and ease of troubleshooting.

• Strong Technical design documentation skills. Ability to create runbooks and deployment guides. And able to clearly communicate with stakeholders.

• Support production deployments, including performance monitoring, debugging, and issue resolution.

• Work in Agile development teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Continuously explore and suggest improvements to current DevOps pipelines and find opportunity to improve.

Key Skills and Experience

Have a system engineering background and the ability to compare and contrast different solutions to meet a business requirement. Provide technical thought leadership in evaluation of new technologies to meet business requirements and influence key stakeholders leading to adoption.

In-particular:

• 5+ years of IT experience in CICD and Scripting/Automation with PowerShell as Individual contributor, as well as leader.

• Azure Platform setup with terraform.

• Handle Azure resources setup/issues.

• Actively working on CI/CD based setup on Azure Devops.

• Working knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 CRM, Power platform Admin centre, Power automate, Power apps Flows, Connections etc

• Able to independently handle MS tickets.

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization concepts (bonus).

• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills

• Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools ex. Azure Devops /Jenkins / JIRA/ Confluence

Desirable skills

• Knowledge of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and REST/SOAP APIs for data integration.

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.

• Experience creating technical design documentation, including data flow diagrams and detailed specifications for data transformation logic.

• Relevant certifications such as: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert; Power Platform Developer Associate; Dynamics 365 Developer Associate; Azure Developer Associate.

• Previous experience in the financial services industry is desirable.
