The team works on a product that protects our customers from online threats, including phishing, ransomware and viruses. The product provides an integrated suite of carrier-grade DNS-based solutions (security, content filtering, messaging). It enables fixed and mobile operators to protect and enhance their networks and strengthen security.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a software engineering team supporting two security-related products. One is responsible for authentication and authorization services for the DNSi SPS solution. The second protects enterprise mobile and cellular devices in an increasingly 'office anywhere' environment.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting engineering team in daily duties like deployment/management/migration of cloud applications from public cloud to Akamai Cloud
- Improving automation of existing manual processes and standardization
- Monitoring service health and promptly handling alerts to ensure quick resolution
- Keeping technologies up to date and taking care of security vulnerabilities
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have hands-on experience in Kubernetes and CI/CD tools Jenkins or relevant (e.g Azure Devops)
- Have experience in cloud technologies (any of AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Present expertise in automation and scripting (Shell, Python and Groovy)
- Demonstrate experience with any of the following technologies: Ansible, Docker, Terraform, Telegraf
- Be familiar with observability tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Prometheus, Logstash, Kibana
- Have a strong understanding of security
