What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain data models for efficient querying and analysis;
• Implement and optimize SQL-based transformations to support analytics workflows;
• Utilize DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation, ensuring data quality and governance;
• Develop advanced Tableau dashboards and other visualization tools to present insights effectively;
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate and refine ETL/ELT pipelines;
• Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and advanced data manipulation;
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions;
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across the analytics ecosystem.

Must haves

• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analyst roles;
• Tableau: Advanced proficiency in creating dashboards and visual reports;
• SQL: Advanced skills in writing and optimizing queries for complex datasets;
• DBT: Intermediate experience with data transformations and pipeline management;
• Python: Intermediate experience for scripting, automation, and data processing;
• ETL/ELT: Basic understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus;
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices;
• Working hours will be Dublin Time Zone;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Experience working in a hybrid role combining data engineering and analytics;
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into strategic decisions;
• Prior experience in industries such as finance, e-commerce, or technology is a plus;
• Knowledge of additional BI tools like Looker, Power BI, or Metabase is a bonus.
