Principle duties and essential functions

We are building a long-lasting, reliable Network Management System for hundreds of customers worldwide, supporting tens of thousands of network nodes.

Your primary responsibility will be developing features for the Ethernet Area of the product.

You will be a part of an agile development team that delivers value in sprints
You will design, code, and debug Java code, write developer tests and use continuous integration practices to productize business needs

Technology we use

Java 11, Spring
Postgresql and JPA
Intellij IDEA, Teamcity, and UpSource
Gradle and SVN (in the transition to GIT)
JavaFX
Rest, SNMP
Junit, Mockito, Robot Framework, Python

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

Good knowledge and experience in Java 11
Knowledge of Spring, JPA, JMS, Gradle, Subversion, PostgreSQL
Good self-organization and “Getting things done” mindset
Desire and ability to learn
Ability to use in practice object-oriented design and SOLID principles
Experience in pair programming is a plus
Experience in TDD is a plus
Experience in the following will be a plus: Git, Docker, JavaFX, REST, or SNMP
A good sense of humor is a must
