Job Description
We are looking for Operations Team Lead (Production & Reliability) to take full ownership of production — not just to keep systems running, but to build a scalable, reliable, and continuously improving production environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive operational excellence across all customer-facing systems. Your mission is to make production reliable, observable, predictable, and resilient — moving the organization from reactive firefighting to proactive reliability engineering.
What You’ll Do
Own Production Stability
Ensure high availability and stability of all live systems.
Drive operational readiness for new releases.
Oversee safe production access and change management.
Maintain high standards and discipline in production environments.
Lead Incident Management
Own the full incident lifecycle from detection to resolution.
Establish high-quality alerting and fast response mechanisms.
Lead structured incident response and clear communication (internal & external).
Drive blameless postmortems and implement long-term fixes.
Focus on reducing incident recurrence and improving recovery times.
Build Sustainable On-Call Practices
Design and maintain scalable on-call rotations.
Define clear escalation paths and severity levels.
Ensure strong documentation and runbooks.
Foster a healthy, no-burnout on-call culture.
Drive Monitoring & Reliability
Define and implement SLIs/SLOs for critical systems.
Improve observability across availability, latency, errors, and system health.
Track and optimize key metrics (MTTR, incident trends, escalation patterns).
Own and drive the reliability roadmap.
Lead and Grow the Team
Lead, mentor, and scale the Operations team.
Set clear standards, KPIs, and expectations.
Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Balance team performance with system performance.
Requirements
Strong experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Production Engineering
Proven track record of leading technical teams
Deep, hands-on experience with incident management and production operations
Strong understanding of observability, reliability, and system performance
Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills
A systems thinker who focuses on root cause analysis and long-term solutions
Knowledge on English language at a B2+/C1 level.

Rate: up to 300 PLN net per hour
Project: Long-term (2+ years)
