The software team at Acquco is responsible for infrastructure, software and intelligence of self driving e-commerce applications and stores. You will be working with massive datasets and gathering intelligence from billions of assets and making decisions to drive our ecommerce stores to the next level.

Acquco is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and implement a cloud based system that allows for self driving ecommerce stores. From intelligence gathering to decision making processes. It will run and power hundreds of thousands of omni-channel ecommerce sellers.

Responsibilities:
As a member of the software team, you will be responsible for designing, building features that power our AI self driving store platform. You will interact with our data pipelines written in Python. Our product interfaces with many modern technologies, such as Kafka, Airflow, S3, Redshift, Dynamo, Ansible.

Qualifications:
- Lead projects and or engineering teams
- Managed projects, collaborate with other teams to gather requirements and come up with system design
- 8+ years of software design experience including designing/developing/operating/enhancing commercial scale web applications.
- Knowledge of software architecture, reliability and performance
- Experience with Python or Javascript, Typescript
- Experience with SQL or noSQL
- Experience with at least one of the cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS)
- Written production ready front end or backend of scalable web applications is required
- Able to lead a project with minimal supervision
- Exposure to different frameworks/services such as K8s, Docker, Kafka, Spark, Redis, Ansible, Airflow
- Experience with scalable systems
- Experience with large data set pipelines *
