Technical Documentation Specialist

We are looking for a skillful Technical Documentation Specialist to work with our client - a USA company with over 50 years of unmatched expertise as the nation’s largest provider of home service plans. Annually, it handles more than a million service requests from customers who depend on the company for financial protection and professional repairs when a covered item breaks down.

*The project is estimated for 3 months.

Your main responsibilities for this position will be:

• Collaborate with our product and project teams to gather information and understand software specifications and functionalities.
• Create, keep up-to-date, edit, and proofread documentation to ensure clarity, language correctness, and formatting.
• Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for various audiences, including end-users and technical staff.
• Gather user feedback on the documentation.
• Ensuring documentation meets quality system requirements and project specifications.

This offer will be a perfect match for you if you have:

• Previous experience as a Technical Writer or similar role, preferably in software.
• Overall understanding of software development processes, software architecture, and being able to read and code
• Familiarity with tools like Git, GitHub, and/or Gitlab
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to give feedback and alert in case of problems

It would be nice if you have:

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• Technical background (preferably PHP).
