Currently, we are working on a cloud data protection project for our client, an American software company specializing in data protection and data management. We are working on two portals with microservices, whose main purpose is to manage backups on the client’s side. The front-end layer is implemented in React and the back-end layer in Golang.
For this project we are looking for a talented Senior Golang Developer.
The main tasks for this position will be:
- Playing key role in design/development of features
- Gathering & understanding requirements
- Designing, developing & implementing independently
- Being responsible for ensuring timely and quality delivery
- Participating in the requirement discussion meetings, providing feedback on inconsistencies, and open issues
- Working with Agile teams
The Candidate should have:
- Extensive hands on experience in Go on Linux platform
- Excellent programming skills along with Data structures, Algorithms, Design Concepts
- Experience in working with service oriented architecture using REST based microservices
- Experience in AWS using EC2/ECS, AWS Lambdas, SQS/SNS, Cloudwatch, RDS, ElasticCache etc.
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Story break down, Story pointing etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good English skills
It would be a plus if the Candidate had:
- Knowledge of the Backup or Storage domain
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
