We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join us in the groundbreaking project in Western Asia, aiming to build cognitive, hyperconnected cities and next-gen infrastructure from scratch. Work with our client on pioneering the development of a sustainable and cutting-edge mega and smart city.
Our goal is to deliver a data management platform based on GCP-managed services to produce sociodemographic statistics.
*Candidates should be open to travel to our client (Asian continent). This role requires approximately on-site presence, aligned with the GMT+3 time zone. In practice, onsite rotations have typically followed a flexible pattern, such as 3 weeks onsite followed by 5 weeks remote.
Your main responsibilities for this position will be:
- Design and maintain the overall cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable integration across data ingestion, data management, and data intelligence layers.
- Define network topology, IAM policies, and monitoring strategies.
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions for Google Cloud Platform to successfully meet the needs of the company.

- Proven work experience as a Google Cloud Architect or similar role.
- Expertise in GCP services: Compute Engine, IAM, VPN, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor.
- Experience with data security and governance (e.g., Google Security Command Center, KMS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Deployment Manager).
- Solid understanding of cost optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery planning.
- Knowledge of service orchestration tools like Google Cloud Composer (Airflow).
