Head of Technology & Cloud

Our client, a growing mobile‑gaming studio is looking for Head of Technology & Cloud Infrastructure to own their entire IT infrastructure and cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading teams, ensuring the technical architecture aligns with business goals, and driving the organization through key security and compliance certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain BI/Data Warehouse systems.

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Build and manage high-performing technical teams.

• Oversee IT security and ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

• Lead efforts in vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits.

• Guide the organization through achieving and maintaining key security certifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical architecture with business strategy.

• Manage IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and security.

• Oversee and mentor engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  
  

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a technology leadership or architecture role.

• Hands-on experience in building BI/Data Warehouse systems.

• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management (networks, servers, security).

• Strong background in IT security and compliance frameworks.

• Experience in leading organizations through ISO 27001, SOC 2, and similar certifications.

• Demonstrated hands-on engineering ability (not purely managerial).

• Strong strategic thinking and ability to align technology with business goals.

• Excellent communication skills (ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders).

• Experience with IT budgeting and financial planning.

  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with large-scale high-concurrency systems.

• Designing high-availability (HA) and low-latency architectures.

• AI/ML infrastructure: MLOps, feature stores, model serving tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI).
