A coherent ESG strategy is at the heart of EQ’s operating philosophy. After significant work to analyse Equiniti’s carbon footprint, in July 2022 we have made a public commitment to reach Net Zero, including these deadlines: - Commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2040. - Commitment to an absolute carbon reduction of 46.2% by 2029 (across scope 1,2 & 3 emissions).
Diversity, equity, and inclusionEQ seeks to achieve a diverse, open and inclusive culture, which represents the society in which we all live and work. We take a ‘top-down, bottom-up’ approach to diversity and inclusion, with direction set at the executive level and implementation led by four employee-led networks: gender; disability and mental health; multicultural; and LGBT+.
Social impactWe are a critical friend to national and local charities, offering skills exchange’s and mutually beneficial opportunities to deliver better customer outcomes for all. We empower colleagues to support causes which matter to them, offering volunteering days and opportunities to give. We have a passionate team who support a multitude of charities that are often personally significant.
