It all started on the island of Bali. While enjoying a beautiful day at the beach, AirHelp’s founders came to a sudden realization — there was no service available that helped travelers with their air travel woes. The rules and regulations surrounding delayed, canceled, and overbooked flights are practically a mystery to most air passengers. And, if something went wrong, they were pretty much left to fend for themselves. Our founders knew that this had to change — thus, AirHelp was born.
AirHelp began with the goal of helping air passengers secure compensation for disrupted flights. We wanted to provide travelers with the resources needed to successfully make a flight claim, and to educate them about their rights. It proved to be a success, and as the word spread about what we do, we began to expand our operations. AirHelp now has a team of more than 600 people, and have helped over 10 million air passengers around the world.
Our engineering department develops innovative technology with a single goal in mind — to help people. At AirHelp, we are here to help air passengers. We need code that is elegant and efficient, with a well-architected framework designed to solve problems. To write great code, we need great people.
*Getting-things-done attitude – efficient, effective, results-oriented, and a great problem solver. *Sense of ownership – reliable, responsible, and takes control of all aspects of the process, from design, to production, and beyond. *Team play – honest, respectful, caring, collaborative, and always ready to share their knowledge with others. *Curiosity – has a passion for learning and wants to understand how things work and why
Here at the AirHelp product team, we are all in love with project execution. We’re a team of designers and product managers who believe that the best way to learn is to just do it! We’re data-driven, methodical, and obsess over the smallest details — diligence is our middle name! Our team collaborates with other departments to bring concepts to reality.
