Job description:

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Utilize Python and SQL to manipulate and analyze data from various sources, including relational databases.
• Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models using appropriate methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and data science techniques and technologies.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data structure and processes.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Machine Learning Algorithms: You should have hands-on experience in developing and utilizing machine learning algorithms, particularly with libraries such as Scikit-learn and TensorFlow/Keras.
• Proficiency in Python: Strong proficiency in Python is essential for this role, as it will be the primary language used for data manipulation and model development.
• SQL Knowledge (Oracle, T-SQL): You should be proficient in SQL, particularly with Oracle and T-SQL, as you will be working extensively with relational databases.
• Experience with Relational Databases: A solid understanding of relational databases and experience working with them is necessary for this role.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of R Language: Familiarity with the R language is beneficial, as it provides additional tools and libraries for statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Familiarity with Amazon ML Services: Experience with Amazon Machine Learning (ML) Services is a plus, as it can facilitate the deployment and management of machine learning models on the AWS platform.
• Knowledge of Hadoop/Hive/Spark Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark is advantageous, as they are commonly used for processing and analyzing large datasets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL, particularly with Oracle and T-SQL.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing complex queries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
