About Sybilla Technologies📡  

Sybilla Technologies designs builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.   

We are looking for a Technical Lead (Product Development) to join our team🚀   


Your responsibilities: 

  • Developing and maintaining software (i.e. “coding”) 25-75% of the time (depending on the development cycle stage). 
  • Writing technical part of proposals for the new projects or their continuations. 
  • Providing guidance and direction to the development team on technical issues, architecture, design patterns, and best practices. 
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs while adhering to technical standards and constraints. 
  • Solving complex technical problems and making critical decisions related to system architecture, technology selection, and implementation approach. 
  • Identifying technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success. 
  • Acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating technical concepts, progress, and challenges. 
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as quality assurance, operations, and product management, to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team, such as process improvements, tooling enhancements, and knowledge sharing sessions.


Requirements:  

  • Higher education in computer science, physics, mathematics, or related fields (STEM). 
  • 10+ years of programming experience in C#. 
  • Advanced knowledge of the .NET platform. 
  • REST API and data flow experience. 
  • Experience in creating automated data flows and processing them. 
  • Experience in working with business clients, negotiations, gathering requirements.  
  • Proven professional approach to work, initiative, independence, and commitment. 
  • Proficiency in English enabling effective communication and management of technical documentation. 
  • Portfolio of managed/completed projects in a different domain.  
  • Experience in architecture design. 
  • High adaptability to changing environment.


Nice to have:

  • Proven expertise in design, development, and maintenance of complex software systems. 
  • Participation in all stages of Software Design Life Cycle. 
  • Interest in Space-related topics.


Terms of employment:   

  • Remote employment model (the office is in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka).
