We are looking for an experienced Engineer for our global financial services client based in Cracow to support the development and maintenance of the applications they use to manage their infrastructure.

You will be part of a dedicated infrastructure team who are responsible for managing all aspects of the DevOps life cycle helping to facilitate the delivery of business features.

This is a B2B contract role based in Cracow - ideally 2 days in the office per week. The initial contract duration will be around 12 months.

Day to day activities:

• Application deployment and orchestration.
• Configuration management inventory.
• Monitoring automation.
• Continuous improvement to our CICD pipeline.
• Vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Automation testing and deployment of small and frequent releases.
• Speaking to the key stakeholders on features and requirements.
• Production availability of your service – if you build a service, you own the service.

Essential skills and experience:

• Proficient in Java with a strong background of object-oriented programming.
• Broad experience of client-side scripting using Angular, React or Node.
• Working knowledge of bash scripting.
• Familiarity with developing RESTful applications that persist to relational or NoSQL databases.
• Proficient with CICD tools - Maven, Git, Jenkins.
• Ability to create tests case using Junit.
• Good English language skills.
