Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of our team, you'll take on the challenge of:
- Designing and executing end-to-end manual and automated tests for front-end and back-end interfaces.
- Specializing in testing REST and SOAP APIs.
- Generating and managing test data to facilitate thorough software testing.
- Tracking and reporting defects, providing clear and actionable insights to our development team.
- Preparing detailed test execution reports to share successes and areas for improvement.
- Crafting test cases and user documentation for our applications, contributing to a seamless user experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with bug tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- A solid foundation in software development methodologies and a deep understanding of software testing principles at the ISTQB level.
- Proficiency in tools like Postman, SoapUI, Appium, and Cucumber.
- Intermediate skills in Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with test management tools like TestFLO, XRay, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Experience in testing both SOAP and REST APIs.
- Skilled in reporting bugs clearly and preparing thorough quality reports.
- At least 4 years in a testing role, with at least 2 years focused on test automation using POM.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab.
- Previous work with device farm services like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest
- Experience in working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Certification or experience with advanced ISTQB or other testing qualifications
