Data Platform Manager (Tech Scrum Master/Analytics Platform Manager (Data)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Delivery Lead to head our data integration and delivery initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with product managers, data engineers, and platform experts to integrate and optimize data pipelines and processes, fostering a data-centric culture within the organization.

Your responsibilities will include project management, coordination of tasks, and overseeing administrative processes, all while ensuring adherence to quality standards, strategic alignment, and the prompt delivery of actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data and Integration Strategy Execution: Work in tandem with platform and data architects, as well as engineers, to develop and implement comprehensive data integration strategies.
• Ensure seamless tool interoperability and alignment with the overarching data architecture framework.
• Act as a program manager, outlining and planning key activities and milestones.
• Pipeline Management: Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines, identifying and resolving any issues, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring accurate and reliable data flow.
• Expertise in Data and Master Data Tooling: Demonstrate proficiency in data analytics, including an understanding of technical components and methodologies.

Communication and Collaboration:

Lead effective communication across data and platform teams and with business stakeholders, maintaining transparency about integration efforts, resolving dependencies, and eliminating bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Delivery: Minimum 3 years of experience in data delivery, data engineering, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing data pipelines in complex data landscapes.
• Data Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of data integration methods, ETL/ELT processes, and familiarity with relevant technologies (e.g., data integration platforms, ADF, Logic Apps).
• Data-Driven Approach: Excellent grasp of data modeling, data warehousing principles, and the importance of data in generating business insights. Project Management

• Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, allocating resources efficiently, and coordinating efforts across teams to achieve data integration objectives.
• Communication: Outstanding communication abilities with both technical teams and business stakeholders. Skills Must Have Product Vision and Strategy: Clear articulation of product vision, comprehensive roadmap development, identification and assessment of market trends and technologies.
• Product Development and Delivery: Efficient planning and prioritization of product features and initiatives, assessment of feature value and feasibility, collaboration on user story and epic definition, product backlog management.
• Platform Architecture and Operations: In-depth knowledge of platform architecture and scalability principles, platform automation, and operational process implementation, collaboration on standards and best practices, assurance of platform resilience and compliance.
• Business and Stakeholder Management: Effective communication of product vision and progress, representation at cross-functional meetings, user feedback analysis, product performance tracking.
