Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist who is excited about automating data science. This position requires working directly with customers, using the best data science practices to translate business problems into data-driven solutions

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience building data science-driven solutions
• Experience with data processing, feature engineering/selection, model training/tuning, and post-deployment validation.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics and machine learning, with familiarity across various industries' common use cases.
• Strong hands-on coding skills (preferably in Python)
• Solid understanding of SQL
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a passion for evangelizing data science solutions and driving business impact.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.

Great advantage:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing role
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, AWS and related Big Data Technologies
• Experience building data pipelines
• Expert domain knowledge in a specific industry, such as financial services or insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their business problems and translate them into well-defined data science use cases with measurable success criteria.
• Architect and develop innovative solutions utilizing our products to address customer challenges effectively.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, offering consultations on data science best practices and advising on new use case discovery to expand our impact in the customer's analytics landscape.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback, working closely with product and engineering teams to incorporate feedback into product development and address customer requests strategically.
• Conduct benchmarking analysis using open-source datasets and explore new techniques for product improvement, including the development of demos/prototypes as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the company's visibility within customer organizations and identify cross-sale/up-sale opportunities.
