Ciklum is looking for a Middle Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About the role:

As a Middle Azure DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Your team's responsibility is to migrate clients solutions into a cloud environment, firstly using lift and shift approach to migrate high-priority VMs and later architecture majority of them to cloud-native solutions.

Client is one of the largest producers of renewable energy in climate-friendly way. 

Company has more than 100+ years of experience and operates in over 30 countries.

Project is aiming to lift and shift over 250 VMs and later reach architecture solutions from 1500 VMs.

Responsibilities:

• Migration Support. Automate, support and troubleshoot the software delivery process based on the CI/CD delivery pipeline
• Cloud environments. Develop and evolve cloud infrastructure environments.
• Quality of migration. Follow and improve migrationquality standards
• Contribute ideas through your knowledge of evolving DevOps technologies
• Be proactive in communication with team members and client
• Be a part of a positive and fun team environment
• CI/CD pipeline. Configure and add new features to the CI/CD pipeline
• Use industry best practices of DevOps processes & tools, adopt and improve them
• Analyze and Estimate. Perform technical assessment of DevOps tasks to ensure the possibility of their implementation within a reasonable time
• Interact with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, colleagues and stakeholders in the business across different projects 
• Keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies

Requirements:

You can name examples of use in different contexts. Are guided by best practices and specifications of such skills:

Methodology:

• Branching strategies (Gitflow/trunk-base development)
• CI/CD (gated builds, feature environments, zero-downtime deployments)
• Versioning (SemVer/Gitversion) 

Azure:

• PowerShell/Azure CLI scripting/Azure graph
• ARM Templates/Terraform 
• Understanding of Azure AD
• Azure networking – network configuration and security, load balancing, app gateways, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Azure VM infrastructure (VMs families, Pricing models, etc.)

CI/CD tools:

• Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts)
• Strong Git knowledge 

Desirable:

You should have an idea of the subject and its parts. Be able to explain. Has experience of use of such skills:

• Experience with database concepts such as querying, indexing, performance tuning, replication, views, etc
• Experience with large-scale, real-time applications
• Experience building and deploying complex systems to cloud and on-premises
• Hands-on Experience with Linux environments and automation scripting
• System configuration (Chef/Puppet/Ansible) 
• Hands-on Experience with containers orchestration tools (service fabric/ k8s / docker swarm)
